Stop Smoking Electronic Cigarette
Millions of Americans are smokers and the vast majority of them have tried to Stop Smoking. Smoking is a choice. However, as anyone who has tried to stop smoking knows, quitting requires more than will power or reading scary statistics outlining why smoking is bad. For many who have tried other methods to Stop Smoking, Electronic Cigarettes have made a big difference.
There are numerous tools available to help you Stop Smoking. Hypnosis, patches, pills, just to name a few, and they may help some to Stop Smoking. Most of these options give you Nicotine but lack the experience of smoking. Another option now available to many of you does give you a similar experience to smoking. Many of you still have probably never heard of this option, now know as an electronic cigarette. The Electronic Cigarette is not some kind of shock therapy device. Electronic cigarettes are battery-operated devices that allow people to simulate smoking without producing any real smoke. The devices vaporize the same ingredient used in artificial fog machines and, when puffed, deliver a small amount of nicotine along with the vapor. In essence, the electronic cigarette looks and behaves like a regular cigarette but delivers nicotine without dangerous by-products such as arsenic, carbon monoxide and tar. One thing seems apparent, by closely simulating the normal experience, without the harmful side effects, the electronic cigarette could be a stepping stone to a successfully Stop smoking program.
A survey published by JF Etter suggests that electronic cigarettes help smokers to Stop Smoking, yet the US Food and Drug Administration continues to say they may be dangerous, even with evidence to the contrary. The results come as no surprise to the people who use the Electronic Cigarette. Yet the American Association of Public Health Physicians (AAPHP),says “Experience suggests that Electronic cigarettes may be more acceptable to smokers than the currently available pharmaceutical alternatives. A smoker can secure almost all the health benefits of quitting if he or she transitions to an Electronic cigarette.” “We are thrilled to have yet another survey confirming what thousands of our members already know: Electronic cigarettes really do help people stop smoking,” says Spike Babaian, president of the National Vaper’s Club, a consumer advocacy group for people who use electronic cigarettes. “Our membership grows every day, and we never tire of hearing how successful people have been at making the switch from deadly traditional cigarettes to electronic cigarettes.”
The AAPHP’s official recommendations to public health policy maker’s states: “E-cigarettes can and should be marketed as a substitute for conventional cigarettes for smokers unable or unwilling to quit. State legislatures and, hopefully, the FDA should see them in this light and regulate their marketing to reflect this purpose.”
